German retail sales up 0.9% in October

Calendar and seasonally adjusted turnover in retail trade in Germany rose by 0.9% in real terms in October compared to the same period in the previous year, the country's statistical office Destatis revealed in its report on Friday. On a monthly basis, the turnover in retail trade dropped by 0.3%.
