Euro area producer prices down by 0.1% in September

The producer price index (PPI) fell by 0.1% month-on-month in the Eurozone in September, Eurostat said in a release on Wednesday. In the European Union, producer prices also declined by 0.1% compared to August. On a yearly basis, the euro area's PPI decreased by 0.2%, but it rose by 0.1% in the EU.
