Oil dips 1% after OPEC+ confirms output hike

Crude oil prices declined by more than 1% on Tuesday after the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its partners (OPEC+) confirmed plans to increase oil production by 137,000 barrels per day (bpd) in December, after which the organization plans to pause output hikes until March 2026.
