Silver rises by 3% after Powell's remarks
The price of silver surged by 3% on Wednesday after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said that the outlook for the United States' economy appeared similar to the one the central bank made in September, signaling that there could be another interest rate reduction soon.
Silver jumped by 3.01% to $53.06 per ounce. Gold grew 1.63% to $4,210.36 per ounce. Platinum rose by 0.94% to $1,667.80 per ounce. Palladium soared by 2.39% to $1,543.40.
