Eurozone producer prices down by 0.3% in August

The producer price index (PPI) declined by 0.3% in the euro area and by 0.4% in the European Union in August compared to the previous month, according to a preliminary report by Eurostat published on Friday. On an annual basis, the producer prices decreased by 0.6% in the Eurozone and by 0.4% in the EU.
