US initial jobless claims down by 10,000 to 236,000

Initial jobless claims in the United States declined by 10,000 compared to the previous week's revised figure to 236,000 in the week ending June 21, the Department of Labor said in its report published on Thursday. The 4-week moving average decreased by 750 from the previous week's revised average to 245,000.
